Woke CNN Staffers Panic As New Pro-Trump Chief Begins Network Purge

CNN’s ratings have been progressively decreasing, and the network is undergoing adjustments.

Fox News dominated the cable news ratings in July, finishing as the most-watched network in prime time and for the whole day, among both total viewers and adults 25-54, the advertiser-prized age group.

Fox was the only cable news network to have a gain in whole day ratings year-over-year, with an average viewership of 1.35 million people — an increase of 13% compared to the same period last year.

CNN placed third overall, while MSNBC finished second.

In February of last year, CNN had a terrible month, as Jeff Zucker resigned under pressure after an inquiry into Chris Cuomo’s unethical behavior as a prime time host exposed Zucker’s smokescreen over that behavior.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Harwood reached out to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, and asked him, “What should I ask Jeb?”

The Hill noted at the time that Jeb Bush, at the time the email was sent, was the leading Republican contender to take on Clinton.

Warner Bros. Discovery canceled CNN’s new subscription streaming service, CNN+, earlier this year after it experienced significant struggles in attracting an audience. CONTINUE READING…
