The lady who is most familiar with Hunter Biden is speaking up about her marriage to the vice president’s son.
Kathleen Buhle was featured in a Tuesday profile on “Good Morning America” on ABC News.
In her forthcoming book, “If We Break: A Memoir of Marriage, Addiction, and Healing.” Biden’s ex-wife will expose new information about their marriage.
Buhle, who was married to Biden Jr. for 24 years, divorced the troublesome lobbyist and attorney in 2017.
Hunter returned from recovery for substance misuse ten years into their marriage and informed Buhle that they owed money in taxes, according to Buhle.
The ex-wife of Hunter indicated that she did not recognize the man in the famed laptop images as her former spouse.
“He was struggling under a massive drug addiction, and that’s heartbreaking and painful and that wasn’t who I was married to,” Buhle added.
During their marriage, Uhle reportedly trusted Hunter to manage the couple’s finances without questioning how the politically-connected attorney supported a lavish lifestyle.
“It’s embarrassing to say that I ceded all financial control to my husband, and kept my head buried in the sand,” she stated “.
“I liked the nice things, and I didn’t want to think about the cost at which they were coming.”
Buhle is touting a message for women, calling upon them to take responsibility for their finances within their own marriages instead of allowing men to do it for them.
