Following the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis provided an update on Thursday morning.
When Ian made landfall on Thursday morning, it was downgraded from a hurricane level 4 to a tropical storm.
As the tropical storm moves through the state, Governor DeSantis says the state is still evaluating the damage.

But CNN made the decision to never waste a crisis!
DeSantis acknowledged that the hurricane was a once in a 500-year occurrence, but CNN still wanted to fabricate some news, and one man unwittingly made fun of the fake news reporter by pretending to be in the middle of the storm!
I wouldn’t argue that this reporter is “faking it,” but I can see why some people are wary of CNN. After all, they don’t exactly have the best reputation for telling the truth, do they?
People find it strange that his microphone is functioning flawlessly in this terrible storm because this is the Weather Channel reporter from Florida from yesterday.
They are also perplexed as to how a man of his size, who is standing on pavement, can be moved around with such ease.

Perhaps the Weather Channel won the “Oscars” for fabricating previous storms, but CNN won this time!
Recall that years ago, when Anderson’s Cooper was covering the floods, it was discovered that he was standing in a ditch:
