Video Catches Moment MSNBC Anchor Collapsed After White House Correspondents Dinner

    Published on

The video of an MSNBC anchor who lost her balance at an event following the White House Correspondents’ Dinner last week has gone viral.

Stephanie Ruhle caused a stir at a Saturday after-party in Washington following the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner when she unexpectedly tumbled to the ground.

Ruhle, the presenter of MSNBC’s “The 11th Hour,” reportedly fell at the residence of the French ambassador in Washington, D.C.

Ruhle, 47, is seen in a video obtained by the entertainment outlet and posted online posing for photos with multiple other women, including former Biden administration official and MSNBC anchor Symone Sanders-Towns.

As Ruhle proceeded to pose for photographs, she eventually lost her balance and fell. After a moment of lying on the ground, she sprang to her feet, appearing unsteady but otherwise unharmed.

According to the report, the incident took place at approximately 1:00 a.m. EDT.

“D.C. was lit Saturday night at an after-party following the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and apparently so were some of the correspondents!!!” the outlet reported, referring to a slang word for someone who’s intoxicated.

Ruhle is notorious for her far-left commentary and obsession with former President Donald Trump.

Conventionally, the WHCD is moderated by left-leaning personalities who routinely attack conservatives and Republicans. Throughout his four-year presidency, Trump never attended the event.

During Saturday’s event, however, President Joe Biden was booed after taking aim at Tucker Carlson, whose Fox News program had been canceled the previous Monday.

“I believe in the First Amendment, and not just because my good friend Jimmy Madison wrote it,” the president quipped during his short set.

“I get that age is a completely reasonable issue,” the president said in what was a short performance. “It’s on everyone’s mind, by everyone I mean the New York Times.”

“I like Rupert Murdoch,” he said later of the 93-year-old head of Fox News. “How can I dislike a guy who makes me look like Harry Styles?”

“You say I’m over the hill,” he went on to say. “Don Lemon would say that’s a man in his prime.”

Then, he criticized Carlson while referencing his 2024 campaign.

“The job isn’t finished, I mean it is finished for Tucker Carlson,” he said to audible boos from the crowd.

“What are you booing about, like you think that’s not reasonable? Give me a break,” the agitated president said.

Last year, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis criticized comedian Trevor Noah for “lying” about attending the dinner.

DeSantis informed reporters after the event that he was not present and had declined an invitation to attend.

During the dinner, Noah stated that Governor DeSantis was in the audience at one point during the program before launching a barrage of unfounded attacks against him.

“One of my favorites, Ron DeSantis, is here,” Noah declared. “Oh man, I’m actually surprised that he found the time. You know he has been so busy trying to outmaneuver Trump for 2024. I see you, Ron. I see you, player.”

“I would never attend that,” he said at a press conference in Jacksonville after being asked about Noah’s comments. “I have no interest in that.”

“Why they would want to perpetuate a lie about that I don’t know,” DeSantis said. “But I think it just shows you why that cabal of people in DC, NY is so reviled by so many Americans. I think it’s a reputation that’s been well-deserved.”

During the event, Noah took shots at Republicans, but it was his shots at those on the left that were most shocking.
