The Biden administration and Attorney General Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice are pursuing anyone associated with former President Donald Trump.
Former President Trump and MAGA Republicans have been labeled by the media and the administration as a threat to democracy that must be addressed.
They gathered the wagons on 9/11 and essentially equated them to al Qaeda, a worrisome mindset that might portend political persecution on a scale never before seen in this nation.
In a disturbing act of political intimidation, the Department of Justice searched the residences of up to 50 Trump supporters, confiscated their phones, or subpoenaed them with purposefully broad and imprecise summons on Friday.
Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson is sounding the alarm about the intimidation, stating, “Remember that any assertion you make as an American citizen about electors, or any claim about American politics, period, is clearly protected by the First Amendment.
That is our essential liberty. This is why we reside here. Because of this, we are happy to be Americans.
This is why so many American soldiers died defending our nation. These are the liberties for which they battled.
This is why senior Democrats in 2016 who attempted to reject Donald Trump’s electors were not arrested. Right.
Carlson stated on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that none of those individuals, including Kamala Harris, are now in jail.
“According to the subpoena that we have obtained, Merrick Garland’s DOJ is demanding all communication from the following people on this topic, and let’s be clear before we read their names, that it is not clear what the investigation is actually about and that’s the most terrifying part,” he asserted.
“… included in this precedent-breaking sweep of political opponents of the Biden White House would be former White House adviser Bernie Kerik, who was the former police commissioner of New York City; Boris Epshteyn, who is the current attorney for Donald Trump.”
“At no time in American history has it been okay to grab the personal communications of someone’s lawyer because those are privileged. Not anymore,” Carlson said.

Carlson then listed a number of the former president’s political opponents being targeted.
“Matt Morgan; Justin Clark; Kenneth Chesebro and Mike Roman; RNC official Joshua Findlay; Trump Attorneys John Eastman, Jenna Ellis, Joe DiGenova, James Troupis, Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Victoria Toensing, Cleta Mitchell, and Bruce Marks. We could go on and on and on and on,” he continued.
So Biden’s DOJ is now sending subpoenas and going after Trump allies, including his lawyers. Has a sitting presidents DOJ ever gone after their political opponents like this?
