This week, Fox News Corporation’s longstanding anchor Tucker Carlson abruptly left the company.

Carlson consistently garnered the highest ratings for Fox News and enjoyed tremendous support from the conservative constituency of the Republican Party, the Libertarian Party, and independents.

The hard-hitting, in-depth stories that Carlson is renowned for investigating are topics that other shows would not venture to approach.

On Tuesday, it was revealed that Pentagon officials are ecstatic that longtime Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson is leaving the network. However, Carlson had an excellent response to their joyous expressions.

Reportedly, an unnamed Pentagon source told Politico that Tucker Carlson’s departure was advantageous for the nation because the military high command could no longer be criticized.

The official stated, “We are a better nation without him criticizing our military every night in front of hundreds of thousands of people.”

Another representative of the Department of Defense responded, “Good riddance.”

The Daily Wire reports that Carlson responded to a request for comment on the story with three words: “Ha! I’m positive!”

The former Fox anchor frequently attacked senior Pentagon officials and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin for a variety of errors, including the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“Carlson left Fox News on Monday with the network issuing a statement announcing his departure which seemingly came as a surprise to the entire country, including those working at Fox News,” The DC Enquirer reported.

“Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the network said in a statement, according to Forbes.

“We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” Fox continued in its statement. “Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday, April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.”

Multiple sightings of the journalist and his wife basking in the sun in southern Florida indicate that he is enjoying his vacation.

Carlson, according to The Mail, walked out of his $5.5 million beach house in Boca Grande, Florida, and proclaimed, “Retirement is going great so far.”

“I haven’t eaten dinner with my wife on a weeknight in seven years,” Carlson opined.

After more than two decades in the television news industry, Carlson joked about his future to The Daily Mail, “Appetizers plus main course.”

Although Tucker Carlson’s dismissal was not included in the $787.5 million settlement Fox News agreed to pay to Dominion Voting Systems, the host’s coverage of the 2020 election almost undoubtedly played a significant role in the decision to let him go.

The investigation conducted by Carlson into how the federal government was involved in the events of January 6 may have caused the most concern among the upper brass.

Monday night, The Daily Beast reported that Lachlan Murdoch, the CEO of Fox Corporation, and Suzanne Scott, the CEO of Fox News, were responsible for the layoffs at Fox News.
