President Donald J. Trump is considering pardons for the American men and women who were detained on January 6, 2021, at the US Capitol by Joe Biden’s FBI due to MAGA action.
On her radio broadcast on Thursday, Wendy Bell introduced the subject to Trump by saying, “There are hundreds of people who have been dragged thru Hell and who are still sitting in DC’s Gitmo.”
Since Trump left Washington, DC, the opponents of the America First movement have used the arrests of American men and women who attended the rallies on that particular day as a political tool. Hundreds of complaints have been made concerning the cruel treatment of those who have been jailed and taken through the DC courts for “insurrection,” as well as the denial of their civil rights.
In connection with the “storming” of the U.S. Capitol building on January 6, 2021, more than 840 persons have been detained; their offenses range from assault to obstructing government business. Although it has been 17 months, a sizable portion of the participants are still awaiting their punishment.
“A quarter of those arrested—185 individuals—have received criminal sentences, while the rest are waiting for their trials or haven’t yet reached plea agreements.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, 80 defendants were sentenced to periods of incarceration. So far, the median prison sentence for the Jan. 6 rioters is 45 days.
An additional 57 rioters have been sentenced to periods of home detention, while most sentences have included fines, community service, and probation for low-level offenses like illegally parading or demonstrating in the Capitol, which is a misdemeanor,”according to Time.
“I am looking at this very carefully and I have been studying cases. We need to make contributions to help them,” Trump said to Bell. “We will be looking at pardons with an apology.”
Trump’s decision will probably worry his opponents because they have loved the media attacks on these people and their families as well as the prosecution and incarceration of Trump’s supporters over the previous 18 months.
When dealing with the Jan. 6 demonstrators, the FBI and other law enforcement agencies were corrupt, according to Trump, who visited Bell’s radio show on Newsmax.
“How do we right this wrong? What can you do?” Bell made the request to get the dialogue going.
“So I met with them a number of times, but I met with, and I’m financially supporting people that are incredible, and they were in my office actually two days ago. So that’s very much on my mind. It’s a disgrace what they’ve done to them, what they’ve done to these people. It’s disgraceful,” Trump declared.
“And mostly, I mean, you know, it’s firemen. They’re policemen. They’re people in the military. They’re people that were, you know, you look at what took place with the police, where they’re ushering them in and so many different things,” he added.
“And we’re working on it very hard. We’re working with legals, you know, this radical left system. These people are sick. There’s something wrong with them. Nobody’s ever seen anything like this and they don’t mind and they’re cold,” Trump said.

“You know, they were telling me that some of these, some of the legal people on the other side, they’re the most cold-hearted people. They don’t care about families. They don’t care about anything. And you see what they’re doing with the sentencing. And I will tell you and I’m looking at it very carefully, I’ve studied it. I study cases and contributions should be made,” he advised.
