Republicans who benefited from Donald Trump’s presidency but then stabbed him in the back by voting to impeach the 45th president with their Democrat colleagues are now paying the price for their terrible judgment. Americans pay attention when a RINO (Republican in name only) reveals themselves by running against what and what they represent.
Now, Trump is getting the last laugh and the vindication he so justly deserves, especially after giving this guy a highly sought-after endorsement.
In a startling turn of events on Tuesday evening, a South Carolina Republican senator who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump for his purported entry into the Capitol on January 6 paid the price.
Rep. Tom Rice reportedly lost his primary on Tuesday night to state Rep. Russell Fry, according to reports. Therefore, Rice will become the fifth Republican to lose their seat out of 10 who voted to impeach Trump; four others have announced they will retire.

Throughout the impeachment campaign, Rice defended his vote with unwavering resolve. In the week preceding the primary election, he boasted that he would vote the same way again, which certainly sealed his fate with his constituents, who ultimately decide whether he remains in office.
Rice reportedly stated, “Defend the Constitution — that’s what I did,”according to MSNBC executive producer Kyle Griffin. “That was the conservative vote … I was livid. I am livid today about it. I took an oath to protect the Constitution. I did it then, and I would do it again tomorrow.”

“Tom Rice broke the trust of the people of the Pee Dee and Grand Strand when he voted to impeach President Donald Trump,” Fry wrote on his website, according to a separate article in The New York Times.
Democratic party leaders, and even some Republicans, have rushed to paint Rice as a hero who stood up against Trump, who they believe is some sort of evil dictator.
“Tom Rice carried himself with integrity and dignity,” leftist pundit Tim Miller wrote on Twitter. “So of course he is getting thrust out. It’s all so dispiriting. Read more…
