Former President Donald Trump stated that FBI investigators examined the room of his 16-year-old son, Barron Trump, during their early March raid on Mar-a-Lago.
Saturday during a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump stated that the United States is “like a third-world country” because his civil liberties were violated during the raid.
“They even rifled through the first lady’s closet drawers and everything else, and even did a deep and ugly search of the room of my 16-year-old son, leaving everything they touched in far different condition than it was when they started,” Trump said.
“Can you believe it? The FBI and the Justice Department have become vicious monsters controlled by radical left scoundrels, lawyers and the media who tell them what to do … and when to do it,” during his nearly two-hour-long speech in support of Dr. Mehmet Oz, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, the former president stated the following.
During the raid, Trump previously claimed that FBI agents “stole” three of his passports and rummaged through Melania Trump’s wardrobes.
In their search for classified materials, FBI agents allegedly smashed an additional lock that the agency had requested Trump’s legal team to place on a storage room door housing vital records.
