Thursday, during a town hall-style event with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity, former President Donald Trump made a startling revelation.
The 45th president, who is currently the frontrunner among declared and unannounced Republican presidential candidates, stated that he made an unusual and unexpected request to Hannity in a phone call regarding any discussion of Joe Biden’s 80-year-old presidential qualifications.
During one segment, Hannity mentioned that Biden had fallen on stage after delivering the commencement address to graduates at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado.

Hannity continued by stating that at the time, the mainstream media and left-leaning cable news personalities made light of Trump when he walked gingerly down a wet metal ramp at the U.S. Army’s academy at West Point, New York in June 2020 after delivering a commencement address.

Trump noted that the ramp was wet and that he was attempting not to slide while wearing leather-soled shoes.
“But I said, ‘I’m not falling. There’s no way.’ So I go tippy-toe down the thing. That was a mistake because it didn’t look so good. I even agree. But I got killed, and they never covered that speech,” Trump said during the interview.
Hannity then stated that he has frequently questioned Trump about Biden’s physical and cerebral qualifications for the position, but that the former president has never elaborated.
“You’ve been very reluctant to go there. … Why are you reluctant to call that out?” the host asked.
Trump then disclosed that he had contacted Hannity off-air with a request.
I’m uncertain if I should say this. Trump responded, “I actually called Sean and asked him not to joke about it… because he used to joke about it.”
“I said, ‘Honestly, I don’t think it looks good for you or for anybody when you joke about it because it’s a serious problem,’” he said.
“‘It’s not appropriate. You can speak about it if you want, but I don’t think you should joke about it.’ And you really didn’t after that,” Trump added.

Biden’s tumble from the stage at the academy, however, was preceded by a number of other incidents. Last summer, he fell off his bicycle while attempting to halt to speak with supporters near one of his Delaware homes. In addition, he has stumbled walking up the steps to Air Force One on multiple occasions and nearly fell on his face while tripping down steps during a visit to Hiroshima, Japan, last month.
