While the sudden death of Donald Trump’s first wife, Ivana Trump, will undoubtedly weigh on the family and alter schedules, the former president will have a busy remainder of the year.
Ivana gave birth to Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump. Ivanka eulogized her deceased mother, stating, “Heartbroken by the passing of my mother. Mom was brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny. She lived life to the fullest — never forgoing an opportunity to laugh and dance. I will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always.”
As the November elections approach, the J6 committee, which is controlled by Democrats, will seek to divert the American people from the economic disaster they have caused in an effort to retain the House.
President Trump will also be significantly more involved when campaigning for candidates in close races when incumbent Democrats are at risk of losing office.
Trump will really travel to Washington, D.C., this month for a major speaking event — essentially daring the J6 committee members to come and get him.
The former president is also expected to reveal if he would run again in 2024. We all know that in politics, time and appearance are key.
In an exclusive interview with Olvia Nuzzi of The New Yorker, Trump stated, “Well, in my own mind, I’ve already made that decision, so nothing factors in anymore. In my own mind, I’ve already made that decision.”
He also said “Look, I feel very confident that, if I decide to run, I’ll win.”
According to MIC Magazine, “several unnamed “Trump Advisors” spoke with the Washington Post this week about the former president’s plans to announce his next campaign for the White House in September, just in time to play a major — albeit unpredictable — role in the upcoming midterm elections two months later. While nothing is certain, one advisor has a 70-30 chance that he will make an announcement before November, while another observes that “you can only hold him off so long. One day he’ll wake up and say, ‘Put it out.’”

Some Republicans, however, worry that by launching his bid for the presidency in September, Trump could play accidental spoiler for his own party’s odds at retaking one, or both chambers of congress, as they’re widely expected to do.
While a Trump campaign would certainly galvanize his core base of supporters, it would also potentially have a similar effect among Democrats already seeking — and in some cases succeeding — to regain the offensive after a series of Republican victories expanding gun rights, and restricting reproductive healthcare access. A Trump announcement ahead of the midterms also risks sucking the oxygen away from down-ticket candidates, and diverting their much needed fundraising avenues. CONTINUE READING…
