President Donald J. Trump constantly teases the American people about whether he would run for President again because he is frequently questioned about the subject, and he cannot confirm if he will be on the ballot owing to Federal Election Laws.
While Trump is still extremely popular and viewed as the Republican party’s leader, there are others who would like to run for the role, including maybe Florida’s Republican governor, Ron DeSantis.
DeSantis teases whether he would run or not as well, and according to most polls, Trump is the most respected and most popular Republican, with DeSantis coming in second.
Densantis recently had some fun with the news that CEO Elon Musk may endorse him for president.
Trump stated in an interview conducted over the weekend in response to a question about DeSantis’ candidacy that he has not asked Florida’s Republican governor if he intended to seek for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
On Tuesday, Conservative Brief’s Jon Dougherty reported: “But were DeSantis to do so, Trump said he believes he would come out on top.”
“I don’t know if Ron is running, and I don’t ask him,” Trump said in an interview with The New Yorker. “It’s his prerogative. I think I would win.”
The Hill published the conversation and stated:
“Of course, it’s not the first time Trump has fired a warning shot at DeSantis, a former congressman who has risen to prominence among Republicans in recent years as he uses his perch in the Florida governor’s mansion to pursue a laundry list of ultra-conservative policies.

Trump has repeatedly teased a 2024 presidential bid since leaving the White House last year. In his interview with The New Yorker, he said that he was “very close to making a decision” on another campaign.
Still, DeSantis’s own potential political ambitions have irked Trump, who endorsed him during his 2018 gubernatorial bid and believes that he is responsible for DeSantis’s political success. Read more…
