After serving in the military for the United States, a servant leader who stands for a fresh, laser-focused group of firebrand MAGA Conservatives was elected to the US House of Representatives for Florida. She now has the political and conservative-independent media support she needs to advance her populist, America First program.
According to projections published late Tuesday, 33-year-old Air Force veteran Anna Paulina Luna is expected to defeat Democrat Eric Lynn in Florida’s 13th Congressional District. After the results of her race were announced, Luna thanked her supporters on Twitter, citing the role played by her grassroots campaign in defeating a Democratic rival who significantly outspent her.
Even though results from the midterm elections were still being tabulated on Wednesday in many regions of the nation, a number of Republican and Democratic Latinos made history.
In 44 of the country’s 50 states, top positions were sought after by Latinos, based on the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials.
With her victory, Luna becomes the first Mexican American woman elected to the House from Florida.
In the contest to represent Florida’s 13th Congressional District, she prevailed over Democrat Eric Lynn. According to the NBC News Decision Desk, Luna earned 53.1% of the votes, while Lynn received 45.1%, switching the traditionally Democratic seat.
“Today we made history,” veteran of the Air Force Luna, a nonprofit activist, posted on Twitter.
There have been 12 Latino congressional members from Florida, 10 of them are of Cuban heritage. The other two seem to be of Ecuadorian and Puerto Rican heritage.

The Western Journal added some more details:
Luna secured a margin of victory of roughly 8.6 percent with 95 percent of the vote counted, a development that could display the nascent strength of the Republican Party in Florida. Florida’s 13th district was formerly represented by Charlie Crist, a Democrat who resigned his office to focus on a gubernatorial campaign against Gov. Ron DeSantis.
DeSantis, meanwhile, easily beat Crist, a former Florida Republican governor himself before he flipped to the Democratic Party. CONTINUE READING…
