Frequently, the FBI looks to be up to no good. Typically, the agency appears to support Democrats.
In May, Democratic legislators used a mass shooting in Buffalo, New York as an excuse to push for legislation that will allow the FBI more latitude to eavesdrop on conservatives and opponents of the government’s revolutionary agenda.
Special counsel John Durham asserted in the same month, in relation to the Trump/Russia collusion probe into the investigators, that the FBI falsely represented that the Alfa Bank material originated from the Justice Department. Michael Sussmann, a former campaign counsel for Hillary Clinton, took the proposal straight to the FBI, whose leadership was aware of its beginnings as flawed political opposition research.
This week, it was revealed that an FBI training manual recognized the Gadsden Flag, the Liberty Tree, and the Betsy Ross Flag as indicators of extremism.
Senator Ted Cruz criticized the FBI director about the subject.
According to Summit News, “Senator Ted Cruz grilled FBI director Christopher Wray Thursday over a recent FBI training document that listed patriotic imagery such as the Gadsden Flag, the Liberty Tree, and the Betsy Ross Flag as ‘extremist’ indicators.”
Wray stated he was unaware of the paper that, according to Project Veritas, identifies symbols, words, images, events, and personalities that agents should flag when attempting to identify “Militia Violent Extremists” (MVEs).
Cruz warned Wray that the discoveries illustrate how the FBI has been “weaponized and politicized” in order to portray ordinary Americans as “Anti-Government or Anti-Authority Violent Extremists.”
Cruz slammed his boot on the counter as he declared, “I will self-report right now that every day in the Senate I wear my boots that have the Gonzalez battle flag on the back of em.
What are y’all doing? This makes no sense.”
Wray was also questioned by Republican Senator Josh Hawley, who highlighted a whistleblower report stating that the Biden Administration evacuated and relocated hundreds of individuals from Afghanistan who were on the Pentagon’s “watch list,” including known and suspected terrorists.
The whistleblower told Hawley and Senator Ron Johnson that the White House and the Department of Defense ordered shortcuts, data deletion, and inadequate refugee screening.
Cruz said, “Included on this list is the Betsy Ross flag. Now that’s fairly remarkable that the Betsy Ross flag, in the FBI’s indication, is indicative of militia violent extremism – because among other people who have been publicly alongside the Betsy Ross flag; we have President Barack Obama, who was sworn in directly underneath two Betsy Ross flags.”
Cruz asserts that a Gadsden Flag motif appears on Virginia license plates.
Additionally, the Senator emphasized to Wray, “You don’t include things like Antifa, you don’t include things like Black Lives Matter. Instead, you identify patriotic Americans as a suspect.”
Sen. Ted Cruz to FBI Director Wray: “DOJ has become thoroughly politicized. I think this is a problem that began during the Obama admin. I think it metastasized with career officials during the Trump admin. And I think it continues and is even worse today under the Biden admin.” pic.twitter.com/AzV7C0GC9r

“Elsewhere during the hearing, Cruz got Wray to admit that the Detroit FBI Special Agent who oversaw the “absolute debacle” that was the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping entrapment scheme is now in charge of the Washington, D.C. Office, overseeing the J6 investigation,” added Summit.

More on this story via The Republic Brief:
Wray also came under questioning from GOP Senator Josh Hawley, who cited a whistleblower report detailing that the Biden Administration had evacuated hundreds of people from Afghanistan who were on the Pentagon’s “watch list,” including known, suspected terrorists, and resettled them in the U.S.
The whistleblower told Hawley and Senator Ron Johnson that the White House and the DoD ordered corners to be cut, data to be deleted and did not properly vet the refugees.
