The “Save America” rally was held on Saturday night in the small South Texas hamlet of Robstown, which saw a large turnout of Donald Trump’s fans.
The former president attacked Democrats regarding the House Jan. 6 committee during the event, which, judging by photos shared on social media, attracted thousands of people. He focused on Republican representatives. The only two Republicans on the committee are Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.
The jubilant crowd instantly burst into song, singing the national anthem as the former president gave numerous warm smiles and gestures of support as Trump abruptly stopped speaking as he launched scathing criticisms at the two Republicans.
Trump: "Corrupt press, they says Liz Cheney has a great future in politics. She lost by 40 points."
Then: "Kinzinger cries every time he talks."
Then: Crowd sings National Anthem.
Then: "USA! USA! USA!" pic.twitter.com/Tx4zvEsByK

Regarding Cheney’s performance in the Wyoming primary race earlier this year, Trump remarked, “She lost by 40 points.” . “The single biggest margin a congressman or woman has ever lost by in history.”
The former president turned his attention to the media, making fun of them for praising Cheney and projecting her further success in politics. ” I don’t think so,” said Trump.
“All she has is Jan. 6, she’s like obsessed,” Donald Trump remarked before criticizing Kinzinger, who Trump said “cries, every time he talks he cries,” drawing laughter from the crowd.
Trump kept criticizing the Democrats’ Jan. 6 storyline, and as the video demonstrates, at that point, a big throng spontaneously began to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” catching Trump off guard and appearing pleased.
Trump’s South Texas rally took place two days before the Lone Star state’s early voting period began, as The Texas Tribune highlighted. Additionally, it was Trump’s first public appearance since a House committee unanimously decided to issue a subpoena requiring the former president to testify on January 6.
The 45th president proceeded to criticize the committee despite this, telling the sizable crowd that he thought they should have concentrated on what he called a “cooked, stolen election,” which he maintains was the initial impetus for the intrusion into the Capitol.
Trump attacked Democrats on the ongoing illegal immigration crisis, which has been disastrous for rural Texas communities as illegal immigrants run through all available local resources, given the rally’s location, which is just under 150 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border.

Rally attendees confirmed what most polls have indicated in recent weeks: Voters are heading to the polls with the state of the economy top of mind.
“It’s the economy, stupid,” Kookii Crerar, a 63-year-old Texas resident, told The Texas Tribune.
Other rally attendees reacted positively when presented with the idea that Trump might run again in 2024, which he strongly hinted at during the rally when he said he’d “probably have to do it again,” with regard to getting America back on track. CONTINUE READING…
