A report published on Wednesday indicates that the son of left-wing billionaire George Soros visited the Biden White House.
According to Fox News, Democratic megadonor Alex Soros has visited the White House at least 17 times, although the reason is unclear.
“The younger Soros, who chairs the board of directors for his father’s Open Society Foundations network, has now visited the White House at least 17 times since 2021, according to a Fox News Digital review of visitor logs,” the outlet reported.
“Alex’s most recent visits include three meetings between February 8th and 10th, records released Tuesday show. The visitor logs list Jon Finer, the principal deputy national security adviser; Jordan Finkelstein, special assistant to the president and the chief of staff for senior Biden adviser Anita Dunn; and Mariana Adame, the adviser to the counselor of the president, as the individuals who greeted Alex,” the report continued.
“It remains unclear precisely who Alex may have met with for the sessions, as the records can contain White House staff who book appointments, meet the guests and take them to other personnel,” Fox News Digital added.
A White House official verified to Fox News Digital in January that Alex had made previous undocumented visits, including meetings with Biden’s former chief of staff Ron Klain. OSF provided no information about Alex’s recent meetings, and the White House did not respond to inquiries about the matter.
In addition to his previous 14 visits, Soros Jr.’s three most recent visits to the White House have garnered considerable attention. Fox News added that, in addition to leveraging his connections with the Biden administration, Soros Jr. has actively maintained close relationships with Democratic legislators, a fact he frequently highlights and shares on social media platforms.
Alex’s interactions with influential Democrats in the House and Senate from 2018 to 2022 are documented in a number of photographs on his Instagram account. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York stands out among the Democrats with whom he has engaged frequently, with at least nine documented meetings. In addition, Alex has met with former California House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at least eight times.
“Good to see majority leader [Schumer] earlier this week! Energized to elect at least two more Democratic senators so we can secure voting rights and a woman’s right to choose!” Soros posted on his Instagram in July 2022, along with a photo of the two of them.
Alex referred to Schumer as a “good friend” in a December 2021 post that included three photographs of the two of them and stated that they had a “great meeting” at the Capitol.
Previously, he had taken a selfie with Schumer while he was wearing a bicycle helmet and remarked that it was “good to see our senate majority leader [Schumer] the other day, biking and in good shape, and so focused on [voting rights] legislation.”
In December, the son posed for a photo with Pelosi at a White House state dinner for French President Emmanuel Macron, stating that she merited the “best-dressed award” and was the “greatest Speaker of the House in American history!”
