According to Mediaite, Scott commended Hannity’s work and presented him with the NRSC’s Champion for Freedom award in a red gift box.
Scott praised Hannity’s achievements by saying, “You care about freedom — what you do on your show to fight for freedom around this country is unbelievable.”
As the medal was given to Hannity, he said, “Oh my God.”
Hannity compared the prize to hockey’s Stanley Cup and said he’d always desired a trophy like that as a kid.

According to some sources, Florida Democrats have given up completely on winning elections in the state and have resigned themselves to losing to DeSantis and Rubio.
Mediaite notes that throughout his broadcast career, Hannity has referred to himself as a “talk show host” rather than a journalist.
