Joe Biden, a Democrat, suffered another another setback on Thursday when his attempt to curtail the Department of Homeland Security’s deportation authority was unsuccessful. Biden intended to reform Trump’s deportation policies, but the US Supreme Court decided 5-4 to uphold them, forcing Biden to act to protect a border that he had largely left open and in danger.
In other words, the SCOTUS won’t bring back Biden’s restriction on immigration arrests. Instead, the court directed the Biden administration to adhere to Trump’s strict deportation strategy up until the issue was decided in court in December and to disregard Biden’s concerns that there were still too many foreign nationals in the country unlawfully with authorization.
Texas lawmakers, who have been under attack on their southern border with Mexico as a result of Biden’s lenient stance to law enforcement, were ecstatic with the reaction.
“TX handing Biden so many huge losses. First, Biden tells DHS they don’t have to detain criminal illegals. Court strikes down. Biden appeals. Loses. Biden goes to SCOTUS. Just now, loses again!
Feds MUST detain illegals. I’ll keep fighting in court until they do their job!”, Ken Paxton, the Texas attorney general and a Republican, tweeted.

“The guidance, which was instituted in a memorandum last September, instructed officials to prioritize the deportation of illegal immigrants who pose the most significant national security or public safety risk.
Last month, a Texas judge blocked the order, saying the directive was unlawful and the administration had overstepped its bounds set by Congress,” the media published report about the ruling.
Given that Joe Biden’s border policies were dangerous, the timing of the SCOTUS ruling is ironic and good, as noted by the Republican Party. This is because Biden’s policies have done far more to compromise national security than anything Trump has ever done.
When does the Congressional hearing start for Joe Biden’s 787,680 minutes of inaction over securing our southern border?

A Texas judge suspended the Biden-supported policy last month on the grounds that it constituted an abuse of power on the part of the vice president. The policy Biden supported required border police to prioritize deporting illegal immigrants who they regarded to be dangerous.

Part of the problem with Biden’s limiting of deportations was that criminals were being advised to hide their identity not to be detected for deportation.
The high court ruled Thursday to keep the Trump deportation directive frozen in Texas and nationwide, leading the left to complain about the actions of Texas judges hamstringing a President.
Justices Barrett, Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson voted in favor of the policy. SCOTUS set the case for oral arguments during the first week of December.
