Geraldo Rivera, who worked for Fox News for two decades before being dismissed at the end of June, will make a comeback this week.
He announced on Twitter that he will be joining the ladies of ABC’s “The View” on Thursday. The former resident liberal on “The Five” and “Hannity” will join them.
Rivera tweeted on Monday afternoon, “Delighted to do @TheView Thursday. Wonder what they’ll ask me about.”

Some of the 80-year-old’s fans stated that the announcement was unsurprising and that he would be a good match on the notoriously far-left program.
That’s where you belong.

Friday, June 30, was Rivera’s penultimate appearance on Fox News.
After a farewell appearance on “Fox & Friends,” he took his final seat at the table on “The Five” later that day.
Rivera departed Fox News allegedly due to online and behind-the-scenes disagreements with network anchor Greg Gutfeld.
After being dismissed by the network, the former daytime talk show host attacked former prime-time star Tucker Carlson online, infuriating many Fox News viewers.
I don’t wish ill on anybody, but there is no doubt-as I said at the time-Tucker Carlson’s perverse January 6 conspiracy theory was “bullshit.”
Having lost the election President Trump incited an insurrection that sought to undermine our Constitutional process.

Carlson and Gutfeld engaged in a Twitter conversation following the announcement of Carlson’s dismissal via tweet.
You’re a class act Geraldo. A real man of the people. https://t.co/20LOwVzXwS

Thank you @GregGutfeld for your kind remarks https://t.co/MQFoVmWFm7

After one week, he announced that his appearances on “The Five” were “canceled.”
My appearances today and tomorrow on The Five have been canceled. I’m sure there’s a good reason. Never fear, I’ll be back week after next. Stay safe and happy. Thanks 🙏
