Regardless of your opinion of former President Donald Trump, you cannot argue that he did not prioritize faith and prayer.
In fact, despite their currently strained relationship, former Vice President Mike Pence and Trump were instrumental in fostering a spiritual rebirth during the administration’s heyday.
America was reminded of this on Saturday, when Trump visited a burger and ice cream joint called Zesto in West Columbia, South Carolina.
Here is a video of Trump’s visit that went viral:
This is the real @realDonaldTrump the media won’t show you! pic.twitter.com/APKZJ2vMEt

In the video, you can see astonished employees and customers shouting, with one courageous employee asking Trump if she may pray with him.
Trump, as expected, consented to the request, and the two shared a moment of prayer in the center of Zesto.
WRCB also got a video from a different perspective (albeit it did not appear to feature the prayer) and noted that Trump ordered a chocolate-dipped cone.
Again, say what you will about Trump, but he has perfect taste in soft-serve cones.
This video is wonderful for a lot of reasons, jokes aside.
First, it demonstrated that the power of prayer is alive and well in the United States in 2023, despite the leftists’ never-ending assault against religion.
Second, it provided an additional look of a side of Trump that is rarely seen in public. This was not the normal anti-establishment, swamp-draining, furious Trump seen in political settings. This was Trump being a normal person who want a vanilla ice cream cone dipped in chocolate. Who cannot identify with that?
Lastly, while this may have provided a glimpse of Trump’s less political side, it also served as a reminder that Trump has ambitious goals for 2024 and beyond.
