Government authorities sought to deny us our right to choose, force vaccinations into our bodies, and ordered us to shut down and mask up.
Many of the same government leaders and the celebrities who supported them received money from the Covid relief funds as well.
Although some experts believe it is still too early to consider the epidemic gone, the majority of pandemic restrictions, including mask and vaccine requirements, have been relaxed and the majority of Americans have returned to their normal routines.
Reintroducing pandemic restrictions or lockdowns would have a disastrous impact on an already struggling economy as Americans struggle to cope with skyrocketing food and fuel prices as well as wages that aren’t keeping up with historical inflation rates.
We are now learning that some well-known figures made off like bandits with taxpayer money.
Through the Paycheck Protection Program, affluent celebrities’ businesses received loans worth millions of dollars (PPP). The program was designed to help small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, however the loans were frequently not repaid.
Taxpayers paid $953 billion for PPP loans, of which a University of Texas investigation calculated that almost $76 billion was false.
“The Good American jean company of Khloe Kardashian, a member of the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty whose net worth is estimated by South China Morning Post to be about $50 million, received a roughly $1.25 million PPP loan, Pro Publica shows. The loan, including interest, has been forgiven,” according to Just the News.
Tom Brady’s estimated net worth is $250 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, which is different from his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen’s estimated net worth of $400 million. However, the storied NFL quarterback’s TB12 health food company received a PPP loan for more than $960,000 that has since been forgiven.
According to The Daily Mail, Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, owns an 8.1% stake in the restaurant company EDI Associates. The California couple’s net worth, according to financial records, ranges from $43 million to $202 million. Two loans totaling more than $1.7 million that EDI Associates took out and had the interest waived.
Information on some celebrity loans is not readily available.
A PPP loan totaling more than $2.3 million has been given to Kanye West, the millionaire rapper and owner of the clothing business Yeezy LLC. The “status of the loan” part of the report displays “Not Disclosed.”
The report said, “The PPP loan program was under scrutiny last year after it was discovered that up to $420 million may have gone to Chinese Communist Party-linked businesses.”
Additionally, fraudsters received millions of dollars in COVID-19 relief loans, and the Justice Department even established the COVID-19 Fraud Enforcement Task Force to investigate and prosecute pandemic-related fraud.
The Daily Mail published an article about the forgiveness of PPP loans made to politicians and celebrities. Observation from a reader
