PAYBACK: GOP Will ‘Incarcerate’ Officials Who Approved FBI’s Trump Raid

    Published on

Former top strategist of the White House, Steve Bannon, criticized the raid on the Trump family’s residence on Monday. He made these statements in an interview with the former president’s attorney, Christina Bobb, on Thursday.

This degree of legal action against a former commander-in-chief has never previously occurred in the history of the law.

This week, FBI agents searched Donald Trump’s Florida club. Trump’s former campaign manager and a White House adviser for several months in 2017 predicted that Republicans would “incarcerate” the FBI agents involved.

After the search, top government officials informed Newsweek that the FBI acted primarily on the basis of information from a private source who was able to identify which secret materials Trump reportedly still possessed in his residence and where they were placed.

It was previously revealed and admitted by Trump that National Archives-required records had been transported to his Florida residence. According to reports, the documents contained highly secret material, some of which linked to national security.

Mishandling or unlawfully removing sensitive information is a criminal offense, but Trump has denied any wrongdoing and said he is cooperating with investigators to return the files.

Bannon stated, “Starting in January, we’re going to investigate, we’re going to litigate and, wait for it, we’re going to incarcerate, OK.” “You are lawless, you’re running this like a Gestapo. You’re going after a president of the United States…. Let’s see the affidavit and let’s see it today.”

Bannon predicts that the Republicans will regain control of the House and the Senate in the midterm elections on November 8. Legislators and GOP leaders have already committed to examine the administration of President Joe Biden, with some threatening to impeach him.

Bannon commented on Getr on Thursday, “The New American Gestapo: The FBI and DoJ placed themselves in this position by corruption, incompetence, and misconduct.”

“During the War Room episode, Bobb claimed that federal authorities delayed providing her the order, but FBI and DOJ officials acknowledged the warrant and property receipt were handed to Trump’s legal team,” Newsweek said.

“I asked to see the warrant,” Bobb explained. “They gave me a little bit of pushback on that. They made me fight them for it. They made me put my lawyer hat on and use all the reasons why they had to show me the warrant, which they did.

“The affidavit, the probable cause why they are allowed to do this, was sealed, so I wasn’t allowed to see that. I think that’s very telling, that they don’t want people to know what probable cause they have.” CONTINUE READING…
