According to a YouGov/Economist poll, only 20% of adult Americans approve of President Joe Biden’s job performance and only 38% want him to run for reelection in 2024.
Only 15% of the 1,600 respondents polled said they “strongly approve” of Biden’s administration, while 23% said they did so slightly. A majority of respondents—52%—disapprove of Biden’s job as president, with 40% of them indicating that they do so “strongly.” Biden has a 41 percent approval rating among the 1,345 registered voters in the survey, while the majority (53 percent) express varied degrees of disapproval.

According to the study, Biden is performing poorly with adult independents, with 58 percent expressing dissatisfaction with his performance and even 40 percent strongly disagreeing. Only 28% of independents indicated they were satisfied with his performance as president, and another 15% were doubtful.
75 percent of respondents who were asked about the direction of the nation said it was “off on the wrong track,” while a pitiful 15 percent said it was “mostly headed down the right route.” Additionally, 95% of people who reported voting for former President Donald Trump in the previous election and 62% of people who said they supported Joe Biden in the 2020 race both agree that the nation is headed in the wrong direction.
Under 40% of American adults approved of how Biden handled the economy and the employment market, as well as climate change and the environment. A total of 38% of respondents to the poll expressed satisfaction with how he has handled economic difficulties, while 51% expressed dissatisfaction and 11% were undecided. 56 percent of independents disapprove of the way he has handled the economy.
