A client of Hunter Biden’s now-defunct firm visited the White House multiple times during the Obama administration, including meetings with then-Vice President Joe Biden and a senior Biden aide, according to newly disclosed documents.
Nicolas Rohatyn, a Biden donor and the founder and CEO of The Rohatyn Group, conferred with Biden and visited the White House “often” when Biden was vice president and Rohatyn was overseeing his hedge fund accounts, as reported by the New York Post.
“Rohatyn’s business relationship with Hunter appears to have started in March 2010, when Hunter and Eric Schwerin, RSP’s then-president, discussed inviting him to a Mexico Lunch. The Mexico State Dinner at the White House was held on May 19, 2010, so it appears the lunch occurred around this time,” Fox News reported.
“Can we invite Nick Rohatyn to the Mexico Lunch? Evan said we may have some spots. Thoughts?” Schwerin asked, referring to Evan Ryan, President Biden’s current White House cabinet secretary who was serving as his assistant at the time. Fox News Digital previously reported that Ryan, Antony Blinken’s wife, was instrumental in coordinating invites for the Mexico State dinner.
“Yes,” Hunter responded.
Fox News reported: “White House visitor logs show that Rohatyn made three other visits between 2009 and 2010. Two of the visits, Nov. 30, 2009, and Feb. 2, 2010, were with Summers. He is also listed as attending an Alvin Ailey Reception at Biden’s residence on Feb. 1, 2010. It is unclear what his relationship with Hunter Biden or Joe Biden was at that time.”
Multiple fronts are heating up for Biden.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, announced that she had perused the unclassified FD-1023 FBI form alleging that former Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a pay-to-play bribery scheme.
Greene uploaded a video to Twitter after reviewing the document in the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), telling reporters that the document was “very credible” and that the allegations against Biden “are nothing short of deeply troubling.”
Greene alleged that Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company where Hunter Biden served on the board, made payments to the Biden family.
“Back in 2015/2016, Burisma was looking to buy a US-based oil and gas company, and this came from being advised by Hunter Biden and his partners. Biden said [Viktor] Shokin was corrupt. This was around the time of this meeting, [which] was when Joe Biden, as vice president, said that prosecutor Shokin was corrupt,” Greene said.
“They hired Hunter on the board to make the problems go away. That’s what they specifically said. Hunter advised that they could raise more money if they bought a US company. And that’s why they were being investigated by this prosecutor Shokin. The informant was advising them, don’t go this route, why would you buy another US company while you’re under investigation? That’s not a good idea,” said Greene. “He also said that he paid $5 million to one Biden and he paid $5 million to another Biden. And it was all a bribery to get Shokin fired and end the investigation into Burisma.”
