Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and a multibillionaire who is purchasing the Twitter social media network, has advocated for free expression and spoken out against censorship. After his hostile takeover bid of the firm, which is managed by lefties who adore deplatforming conservatives, he stepped up his rhetoric.
Last month, Musk defended a prominent conservative Twitter account that was in risk of being removed.
You may be familiar with the story. It is known as “Libs of TikTok.”
Fox News reported about death threats being sent to the owner of the account after a Washington Post reporter doxed (posted private information online) her.
Washington Post “internet culture” columnist Taylor Lorenz was quick to dismiss the death threats being aimed at Libs of TikTok just weeks after she doxxed the popular Twitter personality.
Libs of TikTok shared a screenshot of a Twitter user who sent her a message claiming a “pipe bomb” was on her way and urged her to kill herself.
“Hi @FBI, I’m being threatened with a pipe bomb. Can you please look into this?” Libs of TikTok publicly asked the authorities.
Twitter is now contemplating banning the account.
The account holder tweeted about being harassed and the actions of Twitter. Musk responded to this statement.
“Update: I have now received about a dozen death threats after radical leftists accused me of being a domestic terrorist extremist. Twitter has not removed any of the accounts of those who sent the threats.”
Why? @Twitter

Ian Cheong, a journalist, responded to Musk, stating:
“On a just platform, everyone would be treated equally. As it is, you can be banned for merely criticizing (not even threatening) woke progressives, but they can send conservatives death threats without any repercussions.”
Musk’s response was as follows:
“A platform cannot be considered inclusive or fair if it is biased against half the country.”

After a brief hiatus from Twitter, Musk has made an amazing statement.
If accurate, his Wednesday tweet would irrevocably alter the course of human history.
“Humanity will reach Mars in your lifetime,” he said on Twitter.

As a reaction, the comedian Ricky Gervais posted a humorous image of himself shirtless and with a large stomach.

Conservative Brief reported on Musk’s absence from the social media platform:
On July 2, after not tweeting for nine days, Musk tweeted a photo of himself and his family with Pope Francis.
“Honored to meet @Pontifex yesterday,” he said in the caption of the tweet.

He also tweeted a memorial for a deceased YouTuber.
“Popular Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade with 12 Billion subscribers recently passed away at the age of 23 due to cancer, and this made [me] realize that cancer is [an] absurd piece of literal garbage and death, but also try to live your best life with people who know. They could die the following day, and you would regret not doing things with them,” he said in a tweet that included a quote from the popular video game character Sonic the Hedgehog. CONTINUE READING…
