Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, likes what he likes, regardless of how it affects his life expectancy, so long as it makes him happy.
After seeing a tweet from author Daniel Crosby that surprised the billionaire, Musk posted a reaction on his favored social networking platform that quickly went viral.
Crosby tweeted that his life had changed since he stopped drinking Diet Coke. This seemingly harmless post drew Musk’s rapid attention, and he offered his thoughts on Crosby’s decision to make his personal life choices public.
“I used to drink tons of Diet Coke but it’s been one month since I’ve had a drop,” he said. “I want to share some of the changes I’ve observed in myself over that time: My health is unchanged. I’m less happy. My one source of joy is gone. Thanks for encouraging me on this journey.”
