A Democrat disclosed that the Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade by leaking a draft of the decision.
The leaker, who likely coordinated with Democratic Party leaders, intended to incite disturbance and violence in order to exert pressure on the justices to change their opinions.
It worked in the sense that violence has occurred, but as far as we are aware, Roe is still on track to be overturned.
In May, the Justice Department announced that the U.S. Marshals Service had begun providing “around-the-clock security” at the private residences of all threatened Supreme Court justices, not just the conservatives.
In light of the protests that followed the leak of a draft opinion signaling the reversal of Roe v. Wade, which could allow states to determine their own laws regarding fetal viability, Attorney General Merrick Garland asked the United States Marshals Service to guard and protect the homes of high court justices.
At the time, a Justice Department press release stated, “At the Attorney General’s direction, the U.S. Marshals Service accelerated the provision of round-the-clock security at the homes of all Justices, among other actions.”
A terrorist organization known as “Jane’s Revenge” has threatened a “night of anger” if Roe is overturned.
The leaker(s) are to blame. They desired it. They are responsible.
Now, the Senate is ensuring that the leaker(s) and any future leakers will pay.

Sen. Wade.
In an exclusive interview, Cassidy told the Washington Examiner that if the legislation, titled the Stop Supreme Court Leakers Act of 2022, becomes law, it would not be able to imprison or fine anyone responsible for leaking the draft opinion of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, though it could be used to confiscate any possible profits received by the person or people who leaked the draft. Read more…
