Leftists haven’t even completed their victory lap in celebration of Tucker Carlson’s dismissal from Fox News before setting their sights on Fox News. They will not stop until they remove another popular primetime host who is favored to replace Tucker Carlson.
Jesse Watters is the obvious candidate for Fox News to replace Tucker Carlson at 8 p.m. A portion of viewers act as if they have forgotten that the co-host of “The Five” and the network’s most popular host was dismissed due to the co-host’s sense of humor and appropriately conservative viewpoint.
What is their strategy then? The time-tested strategy of accusing him of being prejudiced.
According to the U.K. Daily Mail, the host was criticized on Tuesday for claiming that he can “tell” who is a “illegal immigrant” simply by glancing at them.
Obviously, this is not an exhaustive account of the situation; Watters and the panel were discussing the influx of migrants into New York City when Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott began busing them there in response to a border crisis that was affecting his state.

The Title 42 pandemic protections and the pandemic emergency itself will expire on May 11, exacerbating the border crisis. With Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams arguing that Abbott’s transit plan targets “black-run” communities, the debate over busing illegal immigrants from the border to major cities has already become racially charged. This holds true even if these cities are their ultimate destinations.
Watters stated on Tuesday’s show, “I saw an illegal immigrant family digging through the trash for recyclables on the way to work.”
Jessica Tarlov, Watters’ liberal co-host, promptly responded by asking how he knew that they were in the country illegally.
“You can tell,” Watters quipped, before saying, “I can tell! I’m a city guy. You don’t want me to get into it, but I can tell.”

Turlov was likely attempting to spark a debate on-air when she questioned her co-host’s alleged bias. She received the response she desired as leftists abruptly flocked online to join the racist claims train.

Jesse Watters claims he has a secret power to spot migrants. He says he's a "city guy" even though he lives in New Jersey. I've got a secret power to spot a racist – he's got huge eyebrows and hair and he sits at in the middle of the table on The Five. pic.twitter.com/23a0zWWFQK

More on this story via The Republic Brief:
Is it egregiously racist to believe that Watters, who has lived in the city and is familiar with the neighborhoods where many of the bused migrants reside, could have some unique insight into the situation? Is it illogical to infer that they weren’t admitted based on that plus the fact that they were searching through the trash? It’s important to note that Watters said, “it’s the saddest thing to see because they’re not able to work here. They came to work, but they’re not able to work here.” CONTINUE READING…
