Karine Jean-Pierre Lost It and Stormed out of Briefing Because of Question From African Journalist

    Published on

I previously discussed Fox’s Peter Doocy questioning White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about why Russia appeared to gain from the unfair agreement to release Brittney Griner.

Griner, who was then detained on a drug charge, was exchanged for a terrorist/arms dealer who has been found guilty and is responsible for a variety of global turmoil. Except to indicate that Russia wouldn’t make any deals for captive Paul Whelan, Jean-Pierre had no substantive responses. That sounded like the Biden campaign crew was yielding in a lot of ways. In exchange, they freed a dangerous man who now is free to attack people once more, and they didn’t even manage to free all the prisoners who were being held against their will. Not to mention how, as Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) pointed out, this will encourage people to unlawfully detain Americans if they believe they will secure the release of their criminals in exchange. The Biden campaign’s portrayal of strength was less than inspiring.

But that wasn’t the only issue or discordant note that Jean-Pierre encountered during the meeting. While Peter Doocy has clearly done his fair share of holding KJP’s feet to the fire on matters, Simon Ateba of Today News Africa is the one who really appears to rile her up. She frequently seems to ignore and pass over this guy. He isn’t silent about how she has treated him and other reporters who aren’t on the preferred list of those to be called, which may be why he’s on her “bad list.” I previously described how he intervened on behalf of a Daily Caller journalist who was being blocked from asking Dr. Anthony Fauci a question by Jean-Pierre. He objected that she was avoiding the less popular stores.

When he inquired why she was declining to answer a question concerning the Africa meeting on Thursday, he made a scene about not being called on. She simply lost it and left.

With the way she treats others, how is she able to hold a job? She claimed that he wouldn’t listen to her response, but she didn’t provide one and spoke over him instead.

Even though she was “black like me,” he wasn’t taking it lying down and claimed that she was disregarding him and his inquiries about Africa despite this.

He claimed that instead of speaking out on behalf of their members who were left out, the White House Correspondents Association was shouting at him and threatening to suspend him. One has to assume he was transferred from the openly disregarded to the “bad list” given that all that happened came after the uproar over the Fauci inquiries.
