That didn’t take long at all. Geraldo Rivera, a former Fox News commentator, is already making the rounds of left-leaning media outlets and disparaging his former colleagues.

Rivera has, of course, frequently been a shrill voice for the left on Fox News, but now that he has decided to leave the network after being fired from the popular panel program “The Five,” it appears that he will not hold back as he disses his former co-workers throughout the media.

Particularly focusing on Tucker Carlson, Rivera told the cackling women of ABC’s left-wing, daytime whinefest “The View” that he will “never forgive” Tucker for daring to hold opinions that contradict the left’s fabricated narrative of a “insurrection” on January 6, 2021.

During his appearance on the late-morning talk show on July 13, Rivera offered Carlson faint praise as “an excellent writer,” but then accused him of being a conspiracy theorist.

“I think that he is an excellent writer. I think that he was very charismatic in his presentation. He was number one for a reason, was a pretty good show. Then he drifted into this murky area where a swampy area where, you know, these conspiracy theories and it’s not just generates a whole bunch of different mucky kind of conspiracies,” Rivera told the hosts, according to Mediaite.

After being fired from the cable news network, he proceeded to indirectly accuse Carlson of being irrelevant.

“Fox is a tremendous platform. And once you lose that platform, you’re kind of screaming in the wilderness and competing with a lot of other people who have podcasts and so forth,” Rivera said. “So will he be the same character? I don’t know.”

Rivera asserted, however, that Carlson’s actions on January 6 are inexcusable.

“I don’t like to be unkind, but that what he did, just as I would never vote for Donald Trump, I will never forgive Tucker for what he did about January 6th,” the left-winger insisted.

It is improbable that Rivera’s derision will feature prominently on Carlson’s list of things to be concerned about.

Rivera also cited a “very toxic” relationship with another member of “The Five” as a contributing factor to his dismissal from Fox.

The veteran commentator stated that he never really fit in ideologically at the network, but admitted that network executives attempted to find him another program after it became obvious he had to leave “The Five.”

Rivera stated that it would have been a demotion to go to another show after being fired from the network’s most popular program.

“If you fired me from the number one show, then I’m going to quit. And that’s basically what happened,” Rivera told the hosts of “The View.”

Rivera added that “his” opinions were always favored over those of Geraldo and implied that this person may have successfully campaigned to have Geraldo removed from the show, according to Mediaite.

“Sure, and also I thought that it was very unfair that I was not judged objectively in our disputes but rather he was always favored and I was the one — I was suspended, you know, three times,” Rivera said. “My appearances, I had two, three appearances scheduled weekly, then biweekly, then monthly, then they kind of disappeared. They were canceled in the last day right before I was supposed to go on, so I was really ticked off.”
