Hunter Biden Will Plead Guilty to Three Federal Charges

    Published on

According to a report released on Tuesday, the first son Hunter Biden intends to enter a guilty plea to three federal charges. According to CNN, the pleadings were made public by the Justice Department in a federal court filing.

“The plea deal will have immediate reverberations in the 2024 presidential election. Hunter Biden will plead guilty to two federal tax misdemeanors and one charge tied to gun possession, according to the filing in a federal court in Delaware. He will appear in court to plead guilty to the charges at a future date,” CNN reported.

It was reported in December 2020 that the US Attorney’s Office in Delaware was investigating Hunter for potential tax fraud in connection with his business dealings in China. Apparently, the investigation began in 2018.

A March report stated that Hunter used his Connecticut law license to secure a $1 million retainer from the CEO of CEFC China Energy Company in 2017. However, according to state officials, he failed to pay the required $75 Client Security Fund fee to continue practicing law in the state. Consequently, his license was suspended for the third time, according to Breitbart News.

The suspension of his law license was connected to his listed address, which is the House of Sweden in Washington, D.C. Allegedly, Hunter used the office space to facilitate a transaction with CEFC China Energy Co., resulting in a retainer payment from the company’s chairman, Ye Jianming, according to the outlet.

In February of the same year, Ye reportedly bestowed Hunter a diamond worth approximately $80,000. In 2018, following the failure of the CEFC energy agreement, Hunter terminated his lease with the House of Sweden. According to reports, the Biden family orchestrated a transaction with CEFC in which President Joe Biden (referred to as “Big Guy”) acquired a 10% equity stake in a joint venture.

As initially reported by Breitbart News, the House of Sweden returned Hunter a $49,910 security deposit upon the lease’s termination. Hunter was still permitted to practice law in Washington, D.C., despite some confusion surrounding his membership in the D.C. Bar.

Meanwhile, the president and his son are implicated in an alleged influence-peddling conspiracy involving a $10 million bribe, of which a Ukrainian energy company executive paid each of them half.

Earlier this month, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) shared a video to Twitter after reviewing an FBI document in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) at the Capitol, telling reporters that the document was “very credible” and the allegations against Biden “are nothing short of deeply troubling.”
