Monday, the FBI raided the Mar-a-Lago residence of former President Donald Trump. Fox News commentator Sean Hannity gave a significant update on the situation.
A swarm of FBI investigators converged on Trump’s residence in Florida in pursuit of documents thought to contain sensitive information.
The raid concerned White House materials desired by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
The National Archives and Papers Administration (NARA) has already received 15 boxes containing White House records, including classified documents from Mar-a-Lago.
As part of his Wednesday night opening piece, Hannity said that his sources had confirmed that the security cameras at the opulent home were never turned off as asked by FBI officials.
In addition, he lambasted the Biden administration, the Justice Department, and the FBI for executing the first-ever raid involving a former president of the United States.
Hannity began by declaring:
Many of you tonight are very angry, rightfully so. The FBI is blatantly targeting our fellow Americans for their political beliefs. The bureau’s reputation has been shattered. My faith in an organization – I’ll be honest. I had two family members. They were dating my family because they worked for this organization. I revered this organization for decades of my life. If you listen to my radio show, watch this show, you know my love of law enforcement. It is now pretty much been utterly destroyed.
And more specifically, I just do not trust nor I think should anybody be able to trust high-ranking people that have now perpetuated those people at the top of the FBI. The Trump Russia conspiracy theory hoax, it was all a lie for years. They knew it was a lie. They kept perpetuating the lie. Those that purposely lied to FISA court judges to spy on a presidential candidate and a president again and again and again. They have hurt this institution.
We needed institutionalized reforms. We didn’t get that. They protected the corruption. They protected the deep state.
The raid on the private residence of the former president is alarming. It is improper. It is an obvious and flagrant case of power abuse and corruption…
And according to my sources this evening, on Monday morning, up to forty FBI agents arrived in Largo unannounced with weapons blazing in around a dozen cars, one of which was a huge moving truck. Throughout the following few hours, the agents combed the property room by room, collecting any document they could find.
They even rummaged through Melania’s closet. Agents also asked that all security cameras at Mar-a-Lago be disabled. Tonight, we can confirm that the security cameras continued to operate. They were not disabled. Tonight, we can disclose exclusively that the FBI and bureau are feverishly attempting to get all of the tape.

On Fox News’s “The Five,” earlier in the day, both the raid and the video security system were discussed.
“Jesse, it’s true no one is above the law, but while the silence continues from DOJ and the White House, and the FBI that, it’s understandable that people are suspect about what is happening,” noted Dana Perino, who handed it off to Jesse Watters. CONTINUE READING…
