Sam Brinton, a former Department of Energy official in the Biden administration who identifies as non-binary, was detained at his Maryland home on Wednesday while being pursued as a “fugitive from justice” on grand theft charges.
Brinton was arrested after the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) Police learned of a third suspected incident of airport luggage larceny in February, according to Fox News. Brinton is currently being held without bond, unlike many violent criminals who are returned to society by Soros-backed, traitorous district attorneys.
James Johnson, a spokesman for MWAA, stated that on May 17 in Montgomery County, Maryland, “Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police executed a search warrant in connection with allegations of stolen property in luggage from Reagan National Airport, which were brought to the department’s attention in February 2023.”
“Samuel Otis Brinton, age 35, of Rockville, Maryland, was taken into custody on Wednesday pending charges of Grand Larceny,” he continued, “with assistance from the Montgomery County Police.”
According to a neighbor of Brinton’s who spoke with The Daily Wire, “they would not allow his spouse Kevin to leave” after four unmarked police officers arrived on Friday night. Sam Brinton was escorted out in custody after one hour.
Asya Khamsin, a fashion designer, claimed in February 2018 that her baggage was lost at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. She noticed that Brinton’s attire in the photographs mirrored the specially designed items in the bag at the time.
Brinton was initially accused in October of stealing a Vera Bradley suitcase from a luggage conveyor at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport in September. Following his bag-snatching capture on camera at Harry Reid International, he was also charged with misdemeanor larceny. By tendering a “no contest” plea for this offense, he was able to avoid jail time.
According to the Daily Mail, the Biden administration proudly proclaimed the hiring of Brinton, one of the first non-binary, LGBTQ government employees.
They were responsible for monitoring and advising on nuclear waste.
In December, Brinton was detained on suspicion of stealing a woman’s bag during a vacation to Minnesota, bringing an end to his woke fantasy.
Brinton initially denied removing the bag.
Wikipedia reported Brinton’s peculiar life history:
Brinton is the son of two Southern Baptist missionaries and was reared in Perry, Iowa. Brinton came out to their parents as bisexual in the early 2000s. Brinton’s parents disapproved of his attraction to a male schoolmate and sent him to conversion therapy, an experience he later characterized as “barbaric” and “painful” in an opinion piece for The New York Times. During one particularly extreme conversion therapy session, according to Brinton, they were chained to a table and subjected to ice, heat, and electricity while being forced to view film clips of gay intimacy.
Brinton has stated that as they began to manifest their identity, physical abuse by their parents became much more prevalent in their life. Brinton stated that their parents effectively disowned them after it became obvious that conversion therapy had no effect on their sexuality, with their father threatening to shoot Brinton in the head if he ever returned home.
Wayne Besen, a journalist and homosexual activist, has expressed skepticism regarding Brinton’s account of their childhood conversion therapy experience. Besen has observed inconsistencies in Brinton’s account of events, as well as his inability to recall the therapist’s name despite two years of therapy sessions. In response to the 2022 allegations of luggage theft against Brinton, Besen reiterated his concerns and accused various individuals and organizations of ignoring “clear warning signs” and accepting Brinton’s account of their experience without verifying its veracity as “sloppy, ethically negligent, and shockingly unprofessional” conduct.
