Florida’s governor Ron DeSantis is selected by Republican voters to be Donald Trump’s running mate for the 2024 elections, with 27 percent of all voters, in comparison with former Vice President Pence who is favored by 15 percent, according to a recent survey.
Due to souring of the Trump-Pence relationship from the 2020 elections, it is highly unlikely that Pence would be Trump’s choice.
Nikki Haley took third place, while Ted Cruz was in fourth place.
Trump would be victorious against Joe Biden in a rematch of the 2016 presidential election, another poll states
— Trump is preferred by 50 to 36 percent over Biden;
The same survey with interesting results showing that both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris had disappointing approval ratings.
