Former New York governor and Democrat Andrew Cuomo demanded that the Department of Justice promptly justify the FBI raid on former president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate to avoid the idea that it was politically motivated and taint investigations into January 6.
Reuters claimed that Trump’s son Eric stated that the Monday raid was conducted due to documents the former president took to Mar-a-Lago from the White House.
This resulted in a significant outcry from Republicans, conservatives, and others.

Trump published a political advertisement on his social media platform Truth Social hours after the raid.
Although support from conservatives and Republicans was expected, a tweet from Cuomo was less anticipated.
