Donald Trump has already gotten endorsements as he gets ready to run for president again in 2024. Republican legislators are supporting the previous president.

Trump made his reelection campaign announcement on November 15.

At Mar-a-Lago, his Florida mansion where he will headquarter his campaign, he declared, “In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States.”

Trump proclaimed that “America’s comeback starts right now” and that “Your country is being destroyed before your eyes.”

“Under our leadership, we were a great and glorious nation — something you haven’t heard for quite a long period of time,” he added.

“House GOP Conference Chair Rep. Elise Stefanik has endorsed Trump for president, referring to him as the “leader” of the GOP,” according to Just the News.

Republican Reps. Wesley Hunt of Texas, Ken Paxton of Texas, Matt Gaetz of Florida, Troy Nehls of Texas, Ronny Jackson of Texas, Paul Gosar of Arizona, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Clay Higgins of Louisiana, and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton have also endorsed Trump.

Hunt posted on social media that “Our country is in a rapid decline thanks to Joe Biden and the Democrat Party.”

Max Miller, an Ohio representative-elect, declared his support for Donald Trump as the GOP’s nominee for president in 2024.

He said, “I wouldn’t be here without his support, and President Trump will always have my support.”

“Eli Crane of Arizona is another incoming freshman member of the House who is supporting Trump for president,” JtN continued.

While Texas Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn haven’t made a public declaration endorsing Trump, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama has. “Support the nominee of the Republican Party, but I think there’s likely to be a competitive primary election,”  Cornyn told reporters.

The former president has some early supporters in Hollywood as well.

Actor Jon Voight, a strong supporter of Trump’s in 2016 and 2020, is supporting his bid for a second term in 2024. Trump awarded Voight the National Medal of Arts at the White House in November 2019.

“Let us pray that the one president who understood truths and had the best interests of the American people, the American dream, President Donald Trump, will return to the presidency,” Voight said in a video. “He and only he can stop this swamp. Allow President Trump to rebuild our soil and our land so we can rise to our glory.” CONTINUE READING…
