Public suspicion surrounding Elon Musk’s Twitter absence intensified this week after the tech entrepreneur did not answer to his mother’s tweet wishing him a happy birthday.
“Happy birthday @elonmusk,” his mother, Maye Musk, tweeted in a Tuesday post.

“Thank you for making the world a better place in the past 1/4 century #ProudMom,” she tweeted.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO, who just turned 51, talked with his mother often via Twitter before his departure from tahe platform he is working to purchase.
Musk did not respond, like, or share his mother’s tweet on Tuesday.
His final tweet was sent more than a week ago, on June 21, in response to CNBC Space Reporter Michael Sheetz’s article on a legal struggle between SpaceX and Dish Network.
“Their attempt to bait and switch satellite spectrum for cellular spectrum is super shady and unethical,” Musk stated in his reply.
“If they are successful, it would hurt the least served and completely unserved of the world. Very messed up,” he remarked.
Musk recently tweeted a few memes on June 21 before he ceased producing standalone tweets.
