Democrat Senate Candidate Urges Voters to ‘Kill and Confront’ MAGA Candidates

    Published on

People associated with the Democrat party have escalated their calls for political violence against conservative Republicans and other populist supporters of President Donald J. Trump in the United States, but the corporate media is doing nothing to defend the civil liberties of the citizens who are the targets of an escalating multifaceted attack.

The Democrats’ campaign of intense hostility and agitation against the political system, which calls for the annihilation of Conservatives and MAGA supporters in the guise of political “progress,” is hazardous.

Only this week, a Democrat running for the US Senate from Ohio mentioned “killing” his rivals. Details were reported on local news:

“On Tuesday, speaking to Joe Scarborough and his “Morning Joe” panel on MSNBC, Ohio Democratic Senate candidate Tim Ryan made a dramatic statement regarding how he wants to deal with members of the Republican Party he regards as extremist,” according to the Ohio Star.

Ryan said of a group he called “the extremists that we’re dealing with every single day,” he strongly implied he meant followers of former President Donald Trump or the “Make America Great Again” [MAGA] movement, saying, “We’ve got to kill and confront that movement.” The candidate, who now serves Ohio’s 13th congressional district, will compete against attorney, author, and entrepreneur J.D. Vance, a vocal supporter of Donald Trump, in the November election.

Throughout the campaign, the two contenders have fought for supremacy. Scarborough and his coworkers began the broadcast by pointing to a recent USA Today/Suffolk University survey that showed Ryan leading Vance by one point, with 47 percent of the vote.

In contrast to previous statements Ryan made in the MSNBC interview that seemed to be worded to make him look reasonable and accommodating, Ryan’s suggestion regarding his opponents stood out.

Before he called for a confrontation, he declared, “I want to work across the aisle. Look, the Democrats aren’t right on everything and I’m willing to sit down and have conversations about how we can move out of this age of stupidity and into an age of reconciliation and reform – how do we fix all of these broken systems?”

The congressman made no mention of any subjects on which he now agrees with the GOP rather than his own party. (He was pro-life in the beginning of his time in Congress, but he now firmly favors abortion.) FiveThirtyEight, a data aggregation website, looked at roughly 90 House votes, and found that Ryan consistently supported President Joe Biden’s preferred stance.

Martin said that “Tim Ryan wants to ‘kill and confront’ the MAGA movement. This guy is a left-wing extremist who belongs nowhere near the Senate.”

Conservative movement members and Republican activists criticized the Democrat for saying “kill and confront.”

“Where is the outrage over this call to violence!” Ryan’s claim was refuted in a tweet by Scott M. Feigelstein, regional director for the Republican Jewish Coalition in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Editor-at-Large Senior for Breitbart News Joel Pollak experienced the same shock.

He tweeted, “Who exactly is the extremist?

Online response from candidates came quickly:

“They say we’re the ones with the extremist rhetoric?” US Representative Lauren Boebert shared the story along with a Fox News piece.

Rep. Ronny Jackson of the US said:

“Tim Ryan said it’s time to “kill & confront” the MAGA movement. He’s talking about MILLIONS of Americans. It’s disgraceful. This should DISQUALIFY him from office. Democrats are the party of VIOLENCE. They want every Trump supporter to live in FEAR!!”

“Tim Ryan on supposed “extremist” Republicans⁩: “We have to kill and confront that movement” REMINDER: Tim Ryan, just like his buddy Joe Biden, who he votes with 100% of the time, believes that any Republican who supports Donald Trump is an “extremist.”

Added information is taken from the Fox News article:

Before the “kill and confront” comments, both Ryan and Geist spoke about how close the race has become less than two months before the midterm elections. Geist invited Ryan to increase his chances with Republicans on air, asking, “What is your message to Ohio Republicans in this general election who may look at J.D. Vance and say, ‘I don’t like the way he’s running the campaign, maybe I don’t like the guy,’ and are giving you a look?”

Ryan, who has touted his own push to acquire Republican votes, and has even distanced himself from President Joe Biden to appeal to a state with a large Republican base, replied, “Well, I would say, one, I’m one of the most bipartisan members of Congress. The last two congresses I have been in the top 10% of most bipartisan. I want to work across the aisle.”

More on this story via The Republic Brief:

The candidate and congressman admonished his own party on the air, adding, “Look, the Democrats aren’t right on everything, and I’m willing to sit down and have conversations about how we can move out of this age of stupidity and into an age of reconciliation and reform.”

“How do we fix all of these broken systems?” he rhetorically asked. Breaking the Republican Party into two camps, he answered his own question, “Some of those answers will come from Republicans – not the extremists that we’re dealing with every single day.” CONTINUE READING…
