The virus that emerged in 2020 is still present, albeit it has evolved and become weaker, as is typical for viruses.
Americans continue to contract Covid-19 in its present, weakened form, and Vice President Joe Biden recently contracted Covid.
Thursday, Biden had moderate symptoms and tested positive for the virus.
Biden, who will shortly turn 80, has hardly been viewed as the image of health.
Since beginning his time in the White House, he has experienced many falls.
Mentally, he is prone to repeating himself, losing words, exhibiting confusion, and maybe displaying indications of dementia and other cognitive deficits.
For a person of this age and condition, it appears that catching the virus might pose a serious risk.
However, Joe Biden’s recent Covid infection appears to be modest.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declared that the president was “experiencing very mild symptoms” and that he would “isolate at the White House while continuing to carry out all of his responsibilities in full.”
“He has been in contact with members of the White House staff by phone this morning and will participate in his planned meetings at the White House this morning via phone and Zoom from the residence” she added.
Dr. Kevin O’Conner, Biden’s physician, had the following to say regarding the president’s health:
“The president is completely immunized and has received two booster shots, so I expect him to respond well, as do the majority of highly protected patients. In this instance, early administration of Paxlovid gives significant protection against severe illness.”
Dr. O’Conner reported that Biden was suffering from a runny nose, tiredness, and an intermittent dry cough that began last evening.
Biden uploaded a video to his Twitter account stating that he is “doing well and accomplishing a great deal of work.”
On Thursday, Biden was also photographed.

Dr. Jha said Biden told him he is “feeling fine.”
Jha said he didn’t know when Biden was infected with Covid, and Jean-Pierre said she did not “think that matters.”
So it seems that President Biden, despite having all his shots, has contracted the mild form of Covid, but was given medication and is able to carry on with electronic meetings while resting from his home, and there is not much concern as everyone seems to think he is doing fine. CONTINUE READING…
