These events are truly impossible to predict. CNN will undergo significant adjustments, and a prominent Trump supporter is to thank.
CNN has recently fallen on hard times.
CNN+ was removed from the air in April. That was only three weeks after its introduction, despite a $300 million investment.
Chris Wallace, a former Fox News employee who reputedly earns $9 million annually, joined the doomed streaming news channel to pursue a lucrative position and escape Tucker Carlson. Thus, Wallace was unemployed.
Obviously, Jake Tapper’s top producer was arrested in December on charges of alleged sexual misconduct with ‘juvenile victims.’ This occurred only a few weeks after another CNN producer, this one for Chris Cuomo, was fired for similar charges.
Chris Cuomo was fired from his post as a CNN host in the same month an investigation revealed he had supported his brother Andrew during a sexual misconduct controversy.
Chris Licht was appointed CNN president in early May. Licht has signaled that he may steer CNN away from the opinion-driven programming that has dominated in previous years.
Licht stated in a memo on his first day that the focus should be on “straightforward facts” and “insightful commentary.”
The former CBS executive cautioned colleagues via email that “too many people have lost faith in the news media.”
Insiders are rumored to want him to manage CNN his own way, as opposed to as a cult like Jeff Zucker.
Now, one of the elder anti-Trump anchors may be on the verge of oblivion.
Conservative Report stated:
Brian Stelter, host of CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” may leave the far-left network within “weeks.”
President of News Cycle Media Jon Nicosia said on Twitter that sources informed him that Stelter has “weeks” left at the network and that other CNN staffers are dissatisfied with the new management’s decisions.
More on this story via The Republic Brief:
Nicosia tweeted: “SOURCE: “Stelter is ‘down to weeks if not days’ left at CNN. They go on ‘He is everything that reminds the new owners of the Zucker era they desperately want to get past.”
“They continue: ‘Management is confident Stelter is the one sharing the internal pushback to fellow media reporters while simultaneously stirring discontent within the ranks.’” Read more…
