It’s always “too close to an election” to take action regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop and all of the probable criminal activity found there, but the Biden government can proceed forward with their pursuits of political opponents using the full force of the US Government at a time when some states are even participating in early voting, just weeks before the actual election day—and they are doing so on numerous fronts.
“Justice Department accuses China of attempting to disrupt the prosecution of Huawei”
“Two Chinese intelligence agents have been charged with attempting to disrupt the prosecution of a Chinese telecommunications firm, US attorney general Merrick Garland has announced,” The Guardian published an article on Monday.
Likewise busy was Garland’s boss:
“Fifteen days before the midterms, President Biden visits DNC headquarters in Washington and acknowledges that his party is running “against the tide” and casts doubt on the polls – but predicts a final surge for the Democrats.”
On Monday afternoon, Garland was the topic of choice on social media.
@ohnj88, a talking head, posted: “#MerrickGarland October 24th should officially be renamed “Liberal Meltdown Day,” in response to Garland’s huge press conference. But they said they weren’t going to do such things- about Hunter’s criminal charges from his laptop- remember?”
With the beleaguered Democrats, who would undoubtedly do whatever to try to retain power, the hypocrisy is endless.
Garland was criticized by unaffiliated media.
More election meddling from the illegitimate Biden Regime. US Attorney General Merrick Garland will hold a press conference Monday afternoon at 1:30 pm ET to discuss “significant national security cases addressing malign influence schemes and alleged criminal activity by a nation-state actor in the United States,” Christine Laila added:
“The midterm elections are nearly two weeks away and Biden’s corrupt Justice Department is making a major announcement on ‘national security cases.’ It is unclear which foreign country will be named or if the criminal activity is related to the midterms.”
Garland will be joined by Chris Wray, the director of the FBI, Lisa Monaco, the deputy attorney general, and Matthew Olsen, the assistant attorney general for national security.
According to NBC News:
The Department of Justice advised that Attorney General Merrick Garland would hold a news conference on Monday afternoon to address significant national security cases addressing malign influence schemes and alleged criminal activity by a nation-state actor in the United States.”
Deputy Attorney General Lisa O. Monaco, FBI Director Christopher Wray, Assistant Attorney General for National Security Matthew G. Olsen, and other Justice Department representatives will be present when Garland speaks at 1:30 p.m. ET.
The major news broke in the middle of the afternoon: Federal authorities had unveiled accusations against a dozen people on Monday, including members of China’s security and intelligence services, for allegedly attempting to influence American politics in order to advance their own nation.
