House investigators have gotten a key business partner of Hunter Biden to help them. This is a big step forward in their efforts to look into the Biden family’s business relationships overseas.

Eric Schwerin, a key associate of Hunter Biden, has agreed to work with Congress. This has sent shockwaves through Capitol Hill because it shows how President Joe Biden has been acting.

With this new development, investigators can finally get the inside information they’ve been looking for. Schwerin knows a lot about Hunter’s business and financial dealings, and he has ties to the President’s business and tax matters, so this cooperation is likely to change the course of the investigation.

Thursday, James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee (R-Ky.), said a lot of interesting things.

“He [Schwerin] is cooperating with us. His attorneys and my counsel are communicating on a regular basis. Now, I feel confident that he’s going to work with us, and provide us with the information that we have requested.” he stated.

Comer continued,“I think that Schwerwin is going to be a very valuable witness for us in this investigation.”

The committee heard that Hunter Biden and James Biden, the president’s brother, have no plans to give the committee all the details it asked for about the first family’s business deals around the world that made them millions of dollars in places like Ukraine and China.

This is important because it’s a big step forward in the investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings overseas, which has been under close watch. If a key business acquaintance of Hunter Biden helps the investigators, it could give them important information and shed light on any possible moral or legal problems. It could also change how people think about the Biden family and change how politics work.

“We know individuals, many are cooperating with us now, but others, not so much,”  Comer said.

So, Comer said that his committee will not wait any longer and will start issuing subpoenas right away.

“If I were Hunter Biden, and I’m as innocent as his lawyers and the little hit guy that works in the White House and attacks me every day says he is, I would want to clear my name in front of the House Oversight Committee,” Comer added.

“He could come in front of the House Oversight Committee right now and defend his good name. He would have 20 Democrats that would definitely support him, and he could make 26 Republicans look bad if all this information we have from his laptop, all the emails that were in his own words, all the audio that are in his own voice, if for some reason we’re misinterpreting that, then he could make us look bad.”

“But we all know that this family was involved in influence peddling. And this administration is doing everything in its ability to try to block oversight.”

We can’t say for sure what Biden will do when he hears this news. But he has defended his son’s business dealings in the past and said that he wasn’t doing anything unethical or illegal.

He might still say that his family hasn’t done anything wrong, and he might fight back against the investigation. On the other hand, he may say that the investigation is important and ask for full cooperation. In the end, only time will tell.
