Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, has been charged with violating federal tax and gun regulations.

Hunter Biden has, according to a letter filed with the US District Court in Delaware, reached a plea agreement with the Justice Department in which he will plead guilty to misdemeanor tax offenses and is expected to reach an agreement with the prosecution on the felony charge of unlawfully possessing a firearm while under the influence of drugs.

Trump responded to Truth Social by stating:

“Wow! The corrupt Biden DOJ just cleared up hundreds of years of criminal liability by giving Hunter Biden a mere “traffic ticket.” Our system is BROKEN!”

After his brother Beau died in 2015, Mr. Biden’s second son, who has admitted to drug problems, was the subject of a protracted Justice Department investigation that was ended by the agreement.

Additionally, it prevents a trial that would have distracted the White House for days or weeks.

Chris Clark, the attorney for Hunter Biden, believes that the five-year investigation into his client has been “concluded.”

“Hunter will take responsibility for two instances of misdemeanour failure to file tax payments when due pursuant to a plea agreement,” Clark relayed to NBC News.

“A firearm charge, which will be subject to a pretrial diversion agreement and will not be the subject of the plea agreement, will also be filed by the government.

“I know Hunter believes it is important to take responsibility for these mistakes he made during a period of turmoil and addiction in his life. He looks forward to continuing his recovery and moving forward.”

According to a prominent GOP investigator, recently disclosed emails between Hunter and his White House associates cast doubt on Joe Biden’s claims that he was unaware of his son’s business operations.

According to emails recently provided by the National Archives to the conservative nonprofit America First Legal, Hunter Biden and his former business associates were in frequent contact with senior Obama administration officials while Joe Biden was vice president.

James Comer (R-KY), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, asserts that the emails demonstrate that Joe Biden repeatedly “lied to the American people when he said he had no knowledge of his son’s business dealings.” Comer is leading a comprehensive investigation into the Biden family.

According to newly discovered emails, Hunter Biden and his associates sought access to the White House and official government functions.

“We know Hunter Biden’s business associates visited the White House numerous times during the Obama-Biden administration, and now-unearthed emails reveal Hunter Biden and his associates sought access to the White House and official government events,” Comer declared.
