A New Mexico youngster of 11 years old who was stabbed to death in his own bed informed police who assaulted him before he died.
The Daily Mail of the United Kingdom reports that the boy’s mother will be charged with murder.
Sunday morning, police were called to a residence in Hobbs, New Mexico, where Bruce Johnson Jr. had been stabbed.
Bruce Johnson Sr. contacted the police after hearing cries. According to a news release from the Lea County Sheriff’s Office, he told authorities that both his son and his wife had been stabbed.

The statement states, “Mr. Johnson told deputies that he was asleep when he heard his son screaming.” “He found his son in his room, lying on the bed suffering from [a] stab wound. He dialed 911 after discovering that Mary had also been stabbed, but she was asleep in another room.
Bruce Jr. was awake when he arrived at the hospital, where he informed the investigator that his mother, Mary, had stabbed him, according to police.
At 4:19 a.m., however, the youngster succumbed to his wounds.
Mary Johnson was stabilized and sent to a Lubbock, Texas hospital. A warrant for her arrest has been issued for first-degree murder.
According to the Lea County Sheriff’s Office, the boy’s father informed detectives that his wife had been accused of abusing their kid, and that he and his son had relocated from Oklahoma as a consequence.
According to the agency, there were two similar reports during the family’s stay in Oklahoma.
