Chairman of the House Oversight Committee and tenacious American patriot Rep. James Comer (R-Kentucky) told the media that it’s been a “very good two weeks” for getting people to cooperate with the committee’s investigation into alleged Biden family influence-peddling, giving Americans hope that federal government corruption can be reined in.

And this is after indicating the Committee was on to something monumental.

Comer stated to the media last week that he believes the Bidens were attempting to conceal the source of the money that Hunter Biden was receiving from his business activities in China, based on what he has learned in his capacity as committee chairman over the past two weeks.

The Biden family’s deceit has been suspected for a long time; yet, until lately, when the Republicans won control of the US House Committees, there were few official whistleblowers to expose Biden’s behavior.

“Republicans on the House Oversight Committee have been working with four witnesses with close ties to the Bidens, who have provided documents and other evidence tying the Bidens to the Chinese Communist Party,” Tyler Durden reported for Zerohidge, adding:

“It’s as bad as we thought… Since we’ve last spoken, we have bank records in hand. We have individuals who are working with our committee,” Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) told Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“In the last two weeks we’ve met with either these individuals personally or with their attorneys. And that would be four individuals who had ties in with the Biden family in their various schemes around the world. So now we have in hand documents We have in hand documents in hand that show just how the Biden family was getting money from the Chinese Communist Party.”

Late in February, the Oversight Committee made a statement about Biden’s ties to worldwide bribery attempts and a letter indicating that the Committee plans to expand its probe, perhaps with the aid of new material obtained since the Republicans seized control.

James Comer (R-Kentucky), chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, has requested Mr. Vuk Jeremic, a former Serbian politician and former president of the United Nations General Assembly, to provide documents, communications, and records pertaining to the Biden family’s involvement in foreign business ventures that included a person with ties to the Chinese Communist Party and a conviction for international bribery schemes.

“The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating President Biden’s connections to certain international and domestic business transactions and practices, including his family and associates who peddled influence to generate millions of dollars for the Biden family. The Committee’s review of testimony in a federal criminal prosecution—United States v. Patrick Ho—and other documents show that you have records and information related to the Biden family’s foreign business dealings,” wrote Chairman Comer.

“The defendant in that prosecution, Patrick Ho, was convicted of international bribery and money laundering in 2018 and was the former head of CEFC China Energy’s (CEFC) U.S.-based operation. CEFC—now state-owned by the Chinese Communist Party—approached the Biden family to expand its energy portfolio in the United States. The Committee requests you schedule a transcribed interview with Committee staff and produce certain documents related to CEFC, Robert Hunter Biden, James Biden, and their business associates.”

The Oversight Committee is requesting papers and information from key witnesses in order to investigate President Biden’s role in his family’s international business dealings and determine whether he has damaged national security. In addition, the Committee will review the drafting of legislation to enhance federal laws governing the ethics of public officials and their families.

According to the letter they sent, the situation was dire around the end of February, roughly two weeks ago.
