Voters of African descent are now among the many Americans who are disillusioned and angry with Joe Biden’s leadership.
Van Jones, a liberal CNN analyst, stated on Thursday that life for black Americans is “worse” under Vice President Joe Biden due to rising inflation, which he claims has a disproportionate impact on blacks.
“This month’s poll numbers are finally reflecting the heavy sighs and shrugged shoulders that are evident in Black church pews, nail salons and barber shops across America,” Jones said in a CNN commentary.
“African American voters are going through a season of heartbreak, frustration and disappointment with the Biden administration,” he wrote.
“The Black community is facing the burden of the rising costs of gasoline, food, and housing,” Jones stated. It is hardly surprising that just 34% of Black voters in a CNN survey approved of Biden’s handling of inflation.
The former assistant to former President Barack Obama stated that the “hurt is more deep” for black voters than for other demographic groups due to the fact that they anticipated much more from Biden based on his often-repeated pro-black agenda.
As soon as Biden assumed office, the black community saw a decline in quality of life. In a CNN broadcast addressing the subject, Jones stated, “You’re experiencing a summer of genuine grief with black voters.”
“Biden’s approval ratings for handling the economy and inflation now break negative among Black adults, who have been among the President’s strongest supporters (47 percent approve, 52 percent disapprove on the economy, and 34 percent approve, 65 percent disapprove on inflation),” a liberal cable network reported Monday.
Jones stated that the Biden administration has done a great deal for the black community, but has failed to properly express this. As a result, hostility toward the White House continues to grow.
“They’re doing stuff, they’re just not communicating it,” he wrote.

This is why, Jones said, “there is a widespread feeling that the Democrats have over-promised and under-delivered for Black voters.”
For the record, the president has underdelivered for all Americans and all demographic groups, as evidenced by his tanking poll numbers.
Jones noted that Biden made a historic $5.8 billion investment in black colleges, relaxed criminal prosecutions, signed an equity-focused infrastructure bill and appointed more black female judges to the U.S. Court of Appeals than any president in history. CONTINUE READING…
