Biden DOJ Wants $34 Million To Keep Targeting J6 Defendants

    Published on

The events of January 6, 2020 are the subject of a congressional investigation that has been going on for almost two years. For all this time, the liberals have been unable to discover any evidence to support their accusations that former President Donald Trump was the catalyst for the events. It would appear that the investigations should have been finished over two years ago.

According to Insider, “928 people have been charged” with crimes related to the Capitol’s actions that day, and “417 have entered guilty pleas” thus far. According to the source, FBI investigators are still “pore through video footage, social media posts, phone location data, and tips from the public.”. There were certainly some vandals that day, but it appears that relevant footage, etc., could have been examined over a two-year period and that at this point, public reports with any merit would already have been made.

The U.S. Justice Department said that 725 defendants had been detained and 225 people had been charged as of January 2022. 165 people had entered guilty pleas, and 70 had been given sentences, including 18 to house detention. What fresh information, if any, has emerged to further the search for people who committed crimes that day is unknown.

However, the Biden FBI appears set on delaying the process until 2024 or later.

According to NBC News, the weaponized Department of Justice (DOJ) under the Biden administration has requested more than $34 million in more cash to carry out its probe that began on January 6. 130 workers, including 80 federal prosecutors, are requested in the 2023 budget to help with the “extraordinary,” “unprecedented,” and “complex” inquiry.

The requested amount was previously cut from the omnibus budget package that was approved in March because surveys indicate that Americans are unconcerned about the issue. The request comes as the most recent Harvard/Harris poll reveals that only 7% of respondents consider January 6th to be one of the nation’s most pressing problems, with inflation and the economy taking the top two slots.

In contrast, the entire $32 million Mueller Russiagate inquiry resulted in a finding. But according to the Biden DOJ, more is required.

One official told Summit Mews, “We don’t have the manpower,” pointing out that many J6 participants who would eventually face charges haven’t been detained yet.

Another official said that the cash crunch was a “culmination” of various factors – including the need to provide support for cases moving to trial.

A third official called it a “work-in-progress” as prosecutors from US attorney’s offices around the country are recalled to their offices.

    Summit News reports:

“The request comes after federal officials have made around 850 arrests in the nearly 19 months since the incident – just a fraction of the 2,500 people who entered the Capitol, and the “hundreds more who committed serious crimes outside but haven’t yet been arrested.”

The massive trove of evidence — be it body camera and surveillance video or damning content generated by suspects themselves — presents a tremendous challenge for an enormous bureaucracy working with technology that’s often a few years behind the times, at best.” CONTINUE READING…
