A.G. Garland Gets Horrible News After Confessing To Unconstitutional Trump Raid

    Published on

The FBI violated lines during the search of former president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, and the public was made aware of this.

According to reports, the FBI raid was related to some crates of secret information that Trump allegedly brought to his Florida resort.

The DOJ threw a shroud of doubt over the records, despite Trump’s early and repeated claims that the documents in his hands had been declassified by none other than himself before he departed the Oval Office and were intended for his planned presidential museum.

The DOJ denied Trump’s request for a special master, an impartial reviewer of the records, on the grounds that only they should do so. Nevertheless, a federal judge appointed the special master, and the review is currently underway.

But Democrats had anticipated for a more positive reaction from the general public to the raid.

According to Wall Street Journal opinion columnist Kimberley A. Strassel, Garland’s decision will put Democrats in even more difficulties.

Strassel highlights the hysterical anti-Trump protests.

In a recent essay, Strassel observed that “Trump derangement syndrome has a curious way of scrambling coherent thought. Witness the Democratic-media complex’s blind insistence the Justice Department raid on Donald Trump’s home is just and necessary—rather than a dangerous move for their party and the republic.”

“In descending on Mar-a-Lago, the department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation shifted the U.S. into the category of countries whose ruling parties use government power to investigate political rivals. No attorney general has ever signed off on a raid on a former president’s home, in what could be the groundwork for criminal charges,” she continued.

For directing the raid, Attorney General Merrick Garland is getting into some trouble. Garland recently acknowledged giving his approval for the search of former President Donald Trump’s Florida residence.

Garland claimed he “personally approved” the case against the former president during a press conference last month.

The public’s assessment of the acts is currently being shown in numerous polls.

Following the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, a recent Politico survey revealed that Trump’s popularity increased and saw a 10-point boost, with 57% of respondents saying they would back him if he ran for president in 2024, an increase of 4% from only one month earlier.

The Politico poll’s findings are in line with a Rasmussen poll that indicates Garland is doing reasonably poorly after the raids. It’s interesting to see that both Garland’s “favorable” and “unfavorable” ratings rose from month to month.

42% of respondents said they viewed Garland unfavorably, a rise of 3% from a month earlier, while 36% of respondents said they did, up 6% from last month.

This demonstrates that Garland’s approval of the raid played well with liberals while being opposed by conservatives, further demonstrating how the action further polarized the nation.

A Harvard-CAPS Harris poll found that 51% of voters thought the FBI raid involved the use of force by the police for political purposes.

The Justice Department was questioned about whether it was “really seeking just classified documents and presidential records, or was it using the warrant to carry out a fishing expedition,” according to the respondents.

48 percent of respondents think the operation was legal, while 52 percent think the FBI was looking for further evidence to use against Trump.

60% of respondents stated they believed the DOJ should have litigated the matter rather than seizing records with a warrant.

Former President Donald Trump has been viewed as upholding the law, in stark contrast to the shady FBI practices.

Trump’s statement that several of his attorneys “had been cooperating fully with federal authorities on the return of the documents to the National Archives and Records Administration,” presents another problem for Garland.

If such is the case, it obviously begs the question of why the FBI felt the need to carry out an unannounced raid simply to obtain the documents.

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, a Republican, has since denounced the raid and demanded that Garland be looked into, according to Conservative Brief.

“Without question, I think the order to allow the raid on Mar-a-Lago on Trump’s house has to be revealed,” Paul believed. “It’s going to have to wait until November till there’s a full investigation.”

More on this story via The Republic Brief:

“And I’ve never been a fan of overusing impeachment, but I think there has to be an investigation. And if it warrants it, there’s going to have to be a look at whether or not the attorney general has misused his office for political purposes. Have they gone after a political opponent? I mean, this is beyond the pale.” CONTINUE READING…
